1. The Petal Patchwork Dress
We make the bodice first, then the skirt squares. Bodice (Purple): Row 1: Ch 28. Sc across. (27) Row 2-4: Sc across. Row 5 (Armholes): Sc 5, ch 6 (sk 5), sc 7, ch 6 (sk 5), sc 5. Row 6: Sc across (working into chains). Row 7-9: Sc across. Fasten off.
The Skirt Squares (Make 4 Pansy, 4 Starburst):
- Pansy Motif Square:
- R1 (Yellow): 6sc in MR.
- R2 (Purple): (2dc, ch1, 2dc) in same st, sk 1 repeat 3 times. (Small petals). Change to Dark Purple. (3tr, ch1, 3tr) in remaining stitches for top petals.

Round 1: Ch 6. Start in 2nd ch: Sc 4, 3sc in last ch. Rotate. Sc 3, 2sc in last. Round 2: Inc, sc 3, inc x3, sc 3, inc x2. Round 3 (BLO): Sc around. Round 4-5: Sc around. Round 6: Sc 6, ch 4 (strap), skip 4, sc remaining. Pansy Toe: Embroider or glue a tiny purple felt flower to the toe.
5. Accessories: Basket & Bee
Basket:
- R1: 6sc in MR (Beige). Inc to 24.
